Find Your Hidden Britain
Cumbria was the location for the Hidden Britain pilot project in 2002-4, funded by the Small Business Development Fund for Rural Renewal and the Arthur Rank Centre.
According to an evaluation report produced by Defra, it successfully delivered objectives of developing marketing activity, safeguarding employment, creating new employment and producing 9 fully sustainable tourism projects.
